Brandon Mattei is the owner of Urban Accent Homes LLC and has been a proud carpenter by trade since the age of 16. After going through a union apprenticeship and having the drive to be an entrepreneur, he pursued a career in starting a construction/general contracting business. At the start, Brandon concentrated on carpentry by providing services like framing, flooring, trim, roofing, siding, bathrooms and kitchens. After 6 years, he realized the opportunities the city of Pittsburgh had to offer with a recent medical and tech boom which brought jobs and young professionals to work in the city. He began working with developers and picking up higher end clientele. This in turn sparked his interest of getting into developments, custom rehabs and customer builds. At the age of 40, Brandon decided to rebrand to concentrate on the Pittsburgh modern market and created Urban Accent Homes. As an Avid snowboarder and outdoor enthusiast Brandon is also trying to expand his building territory outside the city where he likes to spend his free time, the mountains. UAH will also rebrand another business division Mountain Accent Homes to bring the modern design and architecture style to the mountains that border Seven Springs Ski resort. Offering a different niche style of modern mountain design which typically isn’t prevalent in the current area. UAH and MMH will be offering spec homes for sale and full/semi custom design for customers and developers.
